HRC Fertility performed the first IVF ICSI (intracytoplasmic sperm injection) pregnancy on the West Coast and performed one of the first cases of preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) for a sex-linked genetic disorder. Today, our Pasadena fertility clinic offers many infertility services including fertility tests such as hysteroscopy, laparoscopy and the Clomid Challenge Test to measure ovarian reserve. Fertility treatments include the most advanced techniques in intrauterine insemination (IUI) and in vitro fertility (IVF) with the ability to have preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) for genetic disease screening and/or gender selection for family balancing. Egg freezing is also now a fertility preservation option for women who may be about to undergo cancer treatment or who may not be ready to start their family.
