We have the most comprehensive, multidisciplinary fertility center in Illinois dedicated to the treatment and care of infertile couples. Our clinic is unique in that we use a team approach for the female AND male patient to delineate the cause(s) of their infertility. Since 2009, the mission of the SIU Fertility and IVF Center is to assist patients in Central and Southern Illinois to accomplish their goal of conceiving a baby.

Our physicians are board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and Urology. In addition, the physicians and their team of specialty nurses, genetics counselors and dietitians provide the most advanced treatment options for couples struggling with infertility. For patients who require reproductive surgery, SIU Fertility and IVF Center physicians are among the nation’s leaders in surgical treatment for reproductive issues and have earned credentials from the Accreditation Council for Gynecologic Endoscopy (ACGE) from the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL). Our facility is the only fertility center and accredited laboratory in Central/Southern Illinois to hold a membership with the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART) and report our data according to their renowned standards.

J. Ricardo Loret de Mola, MD, FACOG, FACS, is the medical director of the Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Center. He has dedicated his life to helping couples achieve the dream of having a child and has done so with tremendous success. He also specializes in the treatment of patients with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and endometriosis and is currently conducting clinical research studies to further delineate mechanisms associated with these fertility compromising diseases and potentially new therapeutic avenues.
